When you have a good idea about the particular book(s) you are wanting, we have a very powerful tool (the Search) for you to use.  See the table below to see all of the various search options you can use.  The search feature will allow misspellings (to some extent)and mostly present the books you are looking for.   Each time you initiate a new search, you will be presented with a new list of books.  In order to better define the elements of your search, use Narrowing Search Results.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To search for a particular title you may use the Title(keyword) by selecting Title(keyword) in the Pull-down, typing in a part of the title "Miracles" and depressing the "Search" Button.

 

 

 

 

 

To search for a particular title you may use the Title(start of) by selecting Title(start of) in the Pull-down, typing in The Beginning  of the title "A Course" and depressing the "Search" Button.

 

 

 

 

 

To search for a particular title you may use the Title (phrase) by selecting Title (phrase) in the Pull-down, typing in a contiguous string of words of the title "A Course in" and depressing the "Search" Button.

 

 

 

 

 

To search for a particular title when you know The Complete and Exact Title of the book, you may use the Title by selecting Title in the Pull-down, typing in a part of the title "A Course in Miracles" and depressing the "Search" Button.

 

 

 

 

Should you wish a list of books by Author, Select "Author", type in the Author's name and depress the "Search" Button.

 

Please note that the list will seem to contain more Authors than you might feel that it should.  This is because iDiscountBooks uses a very powerful cross referencing database regarding contributing or co-authors.    You should use our "Narrow Search" facility to better define your list after the initial list is presented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

To search for a book by the ISBN, simply select "ISBN",  type (or paste) the ISBN, the depress the "Search" button.  One and only one book should appear.

 

 

International Standard Book Number.  Each book has a 10 digit number to identify it and make it unique.  Dashes are sometimes used  i.e. 1-57566-912-9, but must be stripped out to create the computer useable number.  Some people say "ISBN Number"  (redundantly).

 

 

 

 

 

Our "Keyword" search can be used when searching for a word describing the contents (subject matter) of the book, that does not appear in the title.  Select "Keyword" and type in the information, then depress the "Search" Button.

 

This search is used when the name of the title is unknown.

 

Words such as a, an, and the are meaningless when performing searches.  If you type them in, we'll ignore them, it these words appear, we assume that you have typed them in.
